Join the Knife Art Association:
Be part of the Future of Australian Knife-Making
For over a decade, the Knife Art Association (KAA) has championed the art of custom knives in Australia, promoting our makers and their work. From showcasing Australian craftsmanship through events and shows to raising the profile of knife artistry across various media platforms, every dollar we’ve earned has been reinvested in our industry.
But the past few years have tested us. Lockdowns, restricted gatherings, reduced sales and event turnouts have challenged our ability to sustain and expand our community.
We’re now at a crucial moment, contemplating the direction we must take to ensure the future of knife-making in Australia. Do we scale back? Reduce the visibility of Australian knife-makers? Stop running shows and events?
That is not what we stand for. We’re committed to keeping the Australian knife community alive, sustainable and thriving, but we can’t do it alone.
For the first time, we invite everyone who loves custom knife-making to join. Whether you’re a knife-maker, collector, enthusiast, chef, farrier, outdoors aficionado tradie or butcher, your membership will empower the KAA to host events and grow the Australian knife-making industry.
